Danny's has been one of the hospitality industry’s premier names in New Brunswick for many years.
The story begins in 1947, when Danny and Adeline DeGrace opened a guest home on Chaleur Beach and hosted overnight guests during the summer months.
In 1951, four cabins and a small roadside diner specializing in hamburgers were the sum total of the operation. The quality of food service allowed the business to enjoy continuous growth throughout the years. From this very modest start grew the Danny's Group, comprised of a modern motor inn and a full-service conference centre. Danny managed the business until 1971, when his son Robert, who worked with his father during his younger years, took on the responsibility.
On April 1st, 2016, Danny's switched hands to Al-Nasir Nathoo.
Al comes to us from Toronto, where he had successful business in the past spanning the country. Ever since the family's first visit to the Chaleur Region, they felt like they were finally home. In the fall of 2016 Danny's underwent a major renovation to give the property the more modern look and feel it truly deserves.
Today, Danny's continues the hospitality tradition started by the DeGrace family by striving for perfection in offering quality food and warm service in a pleasant maritime atmosphere.
